♣ Having decided that our wills needed updating we bought a CD about “Writing your own wills”. Having studied the CD, which went into a number of issues, we decided that it would be better to have personal advice. Again one can go on-line but we felt that a personal visit was required. We contacted Andrew Bates, as he was local and was offering a discount for new customers. The first thing was Andrew came to our house, in the evening at a time to suit us. He went through the issues we had and explained these along with leaving us information notices that he had written on specific issues. Having taken all the details and answering our concerns about “tenants in common” he drew up the new wills allowing us to amend or query. Once satisfied Andrew provided the final wills again at a time to suit us. The whole process gave us a better understanding of the intricacies of wills and satisfaction that they would not be challenged when they were needed to be used.
